“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’"

-Matthew 25:39-41

Monsignor King Outreach Center (MKOC) is an outreach shelter to care for Denton's homeless population. Monsignor Charles King opened the doors at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church to the homeless on a cold winter night in 2009.

MKOC is located at 300 South Woodrow Lane in Denton. The shelter can sleep up to 58 people. Pets are also welcome under most circumstances.

MKOC is a collaboration of organizations, groups and individuals volunteering their time, donating supplies and/or financially supporting the shelter. MKOC is primarily a volunteer organization, serving under the direction of the Monsignor King Outreach Center Board of Directors. Our Daily Bread, restaurants, families and groups generously provide the evening meals. All of these efforts and generous donations play a part in our success.

MKOC operates under the principle that all people deserve shelter, regardless of where they are in life's journey.
